I’m absolutely over the moon to be able to say that I am now engaged!! Vanessa and I were over in Germany for a short holiday starting with a road trip around the gorgeous Black Forest before shooting the wedding in the mountains and then a few days in Munich before heading home.
Although I visited the Black Forest last year for Heidi and Sebastian’s wedding I had no idea where I would pop the big question although I was determined to make it something really memorable for Vanessa!
Luckily on the first day we found a beautiful rose garden in Baden-Baden with a fantastic fountain that I knew would make the perfect backdrop to the photos of the event! I set up the camera on the tripod with the remote trigger ready to go, had one more hug and a kiss before dropping down on one knee to pop the big question.
After some tears (and asking if I was actually serious!) Vanessa said yes, making me the happiest man in the world!
