Emma and Eoghan were married in St Columba’s Church, Drung, before heading to their reception at Redcastle Hotel, which always offers the perfect backdrop with its stunning views over the Lough from the reception room.
The happy couple were actually introduced by Emma’s mum, who had already approved of Eoghan after meeting him on a teachers’ night out and called Emma to tell her about the “Lovely Irish boy” she’d just met. Emma knew to trust her mother’s judgement, as every girl does, and so their story began!
Emma wore a stunning Allure tulle ballgown with embellished top, while her bridesmaids’ dresses were a reflection of hers in pink with delicate detailing on the bodice. The bouquets of roses and baby’s breath tied everything together perfectly.
The weather was definitely in our favour with gorgeous sunshine all day, giving their photos a distinctly Mediterranean feel. After their ceremony, we headed to the old pier near the Redcastle Hotel for their bridal photos before going to a stunning viewpoint in the Donegal mountains for some bridal portraits showing off the breath-taking Irish landscape.
Their reception at the Redcastle was filled with unique Liverpudlian touches, in honour of Emma’s home city. The table plan featured a silhouette of the Liverpool skyline and the table names were labelled with Beatles’ LPs!
A huge congratulations to Emma & Eoghan, Jude and I had a fantastic time with you and your families, and thank-you again for inviting me to capture your day.
Some of the fantastic people who helped create this amazing day!
