I was so excited when Colorado residents Kayla & Nate contacted me about their elopement photos on the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland! Big fans of our castles, coastland and Game of Thrones, they knew it was the perfect spot to exchange their vows.
The happy couple met 10 years ago at a skate park but remained close friends, even going on double dates with other people! Eventually Nate plucked up the courage to ask Kayla out on a date and their journey began.
Thankfully the usual Northern Irish weather took a break and we were blessed with blazing sunshine. Kayla looked stunning in her grandmother’s wedding dress and Nate matched perfectly with his sand waistcoat. Both of their rings and their ring box were custom made, Kayla’s is inlaid with marble and Nate’s with wood.
Our first stop was the iconic Dunluce Castle and we captured a host of stunning portraits around the grounds and outside in the Portrush sun. After a quick stop for an ice-cream we moved to the stunning White Rocks beach, with the iconic cliffs another unique backdrop for their elopement.
It was a privilege to be a part of this wonderful pair’s nuptials for a few hours and I had so much fun with them! I hope you love their photos as much as I loved taking them!
