Nicola and Ashley started their year in spectacular fashion with their beautiful wedding at the Everglades Hotel in Derry~Londonderry.
Even the rain didn’t dampen their spirits and this loved up couple stayed out to capture these gorgeous photos!
The happy couple go way back, having known each other as teenagers but only as friends. A chance meeting online many years later started the second chapter of their story and they knew it was meant to be. Always keen to impress his other half, Ashley whisked Nicola away for a trip to London and popped the question in style at the top of the Shard.
After their ceremony in Kilfennan Presbyterian Church we headed to the immaculate gardens of Hampstead Hall for their bridal portraits and then to the Everglades Hotel for their reception. Junior bridesmaid Holly is Nicola’s god-daughter and the pair are very close. After the speeches Holly presented Nicola with a framed collage of photos of the three of them over the years and brought tears to many of the guests.
The always entertaining Superstition kicked off the evening’s entertainment as the newlyweds stepped out onto the dance floor for their first dance followed by Nicola dancing with her dad and Ashley with his mum. Then the party started as the girls from the Hen Do showed off their dancing skills with a group dance and encouraged all the guests to hit the floor!
Thank you both so much for asking me to be a part of your day, it has been a pleasure from start to finish and I wish you both all the best for many more years together!
