Allison’s sister Arielle thought that an engagement shoot in Dublin on St. Patrick’s Day would be the perfect start to the couple’s visit to Ireland & Scotland. Arielle had moved to Scotland with her family and Allison & Matt were keen to visit. As soon as they booked their flights, Arielle was in contact to book me for their engagement shoot.
This fun couple had a group of mutual friends back home and bumped into each other a number of times before the right time arrived. Matt knew that Alli was the one for him and wasted no time in popping the question in the beautiful city of Savanah in Georgia. It didn’t quite go to plan however, there were so many people and tour groups everywhere they went that Matt’s nerves got the better of him. In the end he asked Alli to marry him in the peace and quiet of the gardens at their accommodation for their visit and she couldn’t wait to say yes!
Dublin is busy at the quietest of times but on St. Paddy’s it was absolutely buzzing! We headed to a few different locations around the city and created a fantastic collection of images. Sometimes we were surrounded by a sea of green, other times we found some peace in the greenery of St Stephen’s Green. Wherever we went this lovely couple were happy to have a kiss and cuddle and enjoy the scenery at the same time!
Back home in the States they have been busily planning their wedding and counting down to their big day in November! I wish them all the best for their wedding day and the rest of their lives together!
