When I suggested an engagement shoot to Catrina & Anthony they both knew there was only one place that would be the perfect location. Anthony had spent his summers in the countryside around Garvagh and learnt so much of the area from his grandparents that when he decided to pop the question to Catrina he knew immediately that the waterfall behind his grandparent’s home would be the perfect place.
Hidden away in the mountains, the views stretch from Mount Errigal in Donegal across Northern Ireland to the Antrim hills and were the perfect backdrop for this couple’s engagement session! They have spent many days hiking around the area even though Catrina admits that when she completed her Duke of Edinburgh Award in school, she hated the hiking part of it!
Although we may not be heading to any locations quite as remote as this on their wedding day, I have no doubt they’ll be making the most of the local landscape for their wedding photos next year!
