Over the summer I headed out with Colleen Gormley for some portraits to show off on her Facebook page and any publicity for her singing. I’ve met (and heard!) Colleen singing at a number of weddings and she’s always a highlight of the service. She has a gorgeous soft voice and is always a delight to listen to and she’s equally as good in front of the camera!
We started off in St. Patrick’s in Derry with its gorgeous stained glass window before heading down to the Dark Hedges and then on to Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple to round out the shoot. The Dark Hedges were stunning as always and provided the backdrop of some beautifully natural images while the sunset at Downhill gave us some stunning warm lighting, while the sudden arrival of the wind gave her last few images a slightly more gritty feel.
I had a fantastic day with Colleen and we captured a huge variety of images for her and her portfolio! Can’t wait to listen to her again and hopefully make it out for another shoot sometime!
