There was a distinct country and farming theme running throughout Heather and Phil’s wedding, and the effort the couple put into decorating their room was fantastic, with a huge number of details and little gifts for their guests. The country lifestyle started in the morning when Heather’s dad had arranged a horse-drawn carriage to whisk his daughter to her wedding, and horse-lover Heather was absolutely delighted with her open-air trip!
After a beautiful ceremony where the happy couple tied the knot surrounded by their friends & family (and welly boots filled with flowers!) we headed over to Drumcovitt House for afternoon tea and a walk around the gardens for some gorgeous photos. There was even a special guest in the shape of Heather’s family dog, Jack, who was loving having a new space to run around in and plenty of attention!
Thankfully the rain held out until the couple were safely indoors at the Royal Court Hotel in Portrush and guests were able to admire their room filled with well thought out touches, including hay bales and games for the kids, tree trunk slice centrepieces with the welly boots from earlier and cool farming themed sweetie table!
After a gorgeous meal by the hotel Heather & Phil braved the cold to head out on the balcony from some very memorable sunset shots of a beautiful evening over the bay before hitting the dancefloor and partying the night away!
Thanks to you both for choosing me as your wedding photographer, we had a fantastic day with you and your family and can’t wait to see all your images together in your album!
