Angela and William had a beautiful rustic themed wedding at the Redcastle Hotel following their ceremony at the First Derry Church. Their rustic theme started with their decorations outside the church, with planted welly boots and timetable on a wood pallet and continued through to their centrepieces and table decorations at the hotel.
I first met William back in secondary school and I was delighted when he asked me to photograph his wedding to Angela! Their ceremony was led by Rev Latimer and it was a pleasure to see them become Mr & Mrs. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church when William invited Angela’s daughter, Lucy, up to the altar to present her with a ring as well to highlight how important she was to him.
After the ceremony, we headed down to the pier beside the Redcastle hotel for their bridal photos. Car lover William was delighted for some shots beside his friend’s immaculately restored Escort MkII, “Mellow Yellow”.
Once their guests had settled for dinner William impressed everyone with his rhyming speech and another surprise awaited after their first dance as the bridal party performed a fantastically choreographed group dance! The happy couple had one last gift for their guests with a fantastic fireworks display and sparkler exit for the new Mr & Mrs!
