Nadine and Stephanie tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor wedding in the Beech Hill Hotel. The rustic wooden gazebo was the perfect backdrop for the nuptials of this laidback couple.
This fun-loving pair met nearly three years ago living in London. Their paths crossed when both ladies decided to move to London to sample life and work in the capital. It wasn’t long before Derry born Nadine decided to move to Steph’s home town of Melbourne to try life down under.
The ladies had only arrived back from Australia a few weeks before and when we went out for their engagement shoot they were telling me how much was still to be done for their big day. They clearly had a few very successful weeks as both the brides were equally laidback on their wedding morning, getting ready with their bridal party. Steph’s best man, Tim, had only arrived from Australia that morning. Not only that, but he had just tied the knot himself two days earlier and left his (incredibly forgiving!) wife in Australia. Storm Hector threatened to put a dampener on their day but after a power cut in the morning delaying their make-up, it was sunshine all afternoon!
After their bridal portraits in the beautiful grounds of the Beech Hill Hotel we headed to Derry’s iconic Peace Bridge for some more wedding photos. Back to the Beech Hill for their speeches before dinner and then partying long into the small hours!
